Living in Darkness

This photo was taken by my cousin from his bedroom window at around 2pm in
Tromsø, a city north of the arctic circle in Norway. One friend described it as being "Eerily Beautiful", and i totally agree.
Not only is it dark at 2pm, the fact that the moon is out suggests its night time, it also drew my attention to the fact that people in other parts of the world live in darkness, 24 hours a day without even the benefits of artificial lighting. Would these people move to a more normal enviroment by our standards? A place with plenty of daylight so to speak or would they opt to carry on living a life in total darkness? It is there home afterall.
Like it or not most of us live our lives in total darkness even with an option given to us on a silver plate, an option we do not have to work for but just to accept and enjoy, an option that comes packed full of perks but we still choose to live our lives in darkness.
Fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we chose to live in the light by accepting Jesus so let us endevour to stay in the light by fully embracing Gods will and purpose for us in His son. We se our way much , much clearer and even if we stumble and fall, it is easier for us to get up, easily identify where to dust ourselves and then carry on walking, something that is not easy to do in the dark.
More importantly, this will also make us glow making our brothers and sisters living in darkness wonder how we manage to walk through life and its many trials and tribulations with our chins up and a smile on our faces thus making it easy for us to explain to them, why it is so!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
